Gunnar

Gunnar is a family pet who is much larger than life. When I first met Gunnar he had launched himself up to my car window and wanted to give me a kiss.

Gunnar was a difficult painting to be able to get his size and still keep it in a reasonable frame of 28x22. I chose to use the image with his back and tail so that his face came powerfully into the painting and to the viewer.
