I am not really an abstract artist but I thought this image was perfect for abstraction. It was created on a surface marked with acrylics and alcohol drops to move the paint around. Then I painted in the baby zebra resting her head on her mothers back. I think babies do a lot of resting.

An enhanced giclee is a digital print on canvas with the mirror image wrapped around the sides. It lasts at least 100 years. I enhance the painting by using a brush and acrylic medium to raise the texture as it was with the Oil brush strokes. The painting catches the light, and does not look flat like a photograph.
