I was at a loss when I was trying to decide what to paint for the "Old West" series. Then one one evening I looked up and my husband was watching the YELLOWSTONE TV series of the Round-up event I caught some images on my cellphone and was very excited to start. I have always loved horses. With all the paintings in that show I was the only one submitting wild horses. This was the last one of the 5 paintings I created and the first one that sold in the first minute of the virtual show opening.

I made an enhanced giclee for myself as I loved that painting.

An enhanced giclee is a digital print on canvas with the mirror image wrapped around the sides. It lasts at least 100 years. I enhance the painting by using a brush and acrylic medium to raise the texture as it was with the Oil brush strokes. The painting catches the light, and does not look flat like a photograph.
